2) It will score big political points with my base (which is a rapidly shrinking lunatic fringe element of the population, by the way).
During the election campaign, a friend of mine said to me, "If a problem has more than two moving parts, it's too much for Trump to handle." You can apply that to any complex subject, such as immigration or anything else. And Michael Wolff's book backs that up.
The particular images that come to mind in association with this prospective item on Trump's "to do list" are the Taliban dynamiting those Buddhist statues on the Silk Road, or of ISIS demolishing an ancient site in Syria with a whole lot of classical sculpture and artwork - I forget exactly where these events occurred, the particular names and places, but you get the point.
Trump has proven to the world that he is a right wing terrorist, and no better morally than Taliban or ISIS terrorists.
