if you can take the public airing of what are usually private issues. 'We as a society' should have this conversation about abusive people in power is the basic argument. She's comfortable talking about it, but I think most people would just throw the issues out there and let the press, law enforcement, federal vetting, and public opinion deal with it. She's not grandstanding though, and uses the word 'healing' at several points. Perhaps the spotlight is still part of that healing process for her.

That was amazing! I can't tell you how much I appreciate you posting that.
I didn't want to watch all of those minutes of her interview but she spoke my truth and I wanted to see every moment of it. OMG, I know exactly what she went through. I had the same experience with my former spouse and I was married to him for 3 yrs too. It took years before I could have another relationship and she explains why so well.

Props to her. She's a blessed woman to have survived that abuse and come out the other side with that much grace, power and dignity.

Well done. Wow, just wow.
