My Rep, a blue Dem from Oregon, stood before us at a town hall after Sandy Hook, and again after Orlando, Florida, and SHRUGGED HIS SHOULDERS, and said, "NOTHING CAN BE DONE."

I write him after every big shooting (it's hard to keep up with them all) and I never get a response. He was pro silencers, he co-chaired that bill to allow citizen silencers (to protect shooter's hearing, ha ha ha ha).

He is a Dem. A Librul. He is re-elected because the choice is always crazy Art Robinson.

I guess the point is, write and call your Rep, your Senators, even if they are Dems, they are part of the problem too.

I'm willing to compromise with the NRA crowd. My wife (who is from Canada) wishes there were no guns at all. I'm a little more realistic. I know 2nd Amendment, freedom ain't free, USA, USA! and all that. The biggest problem is the semi-auto weapons. Perhaps we can start by getting rid of the worst offender currently out there, the AR-15. If we could get a law passed that said all AR-15s must be shoved up Paul Ryan's ass, I think this country would be a lot safer.
