Noor (literally 'light') Inayat Khan was the wife of the famous Sufi master Hazrat Inayat Khan, who was an accomplished musician and also a player of the Veena (the Indian stringed instrument she is pictured as playing in the video). Hazrat Inayat Khan's book on the Mysticism of Sound and Music is a spiritual classic.
