My cousin has one for their dog. Before I would use it while pet sitting I tried it on my hand. I didn't go up to the max but I could imagine what that would be like on the throat. It wasn't horrible on the hand, but pushing the button, knowing you were going to get the shock was awful.

I don't think I would have much issue pushing the button on Meghan's screeching.

The reason is, just like other nations have figured out with medical needs, that its cheaper to pool money together and centralize spending for the whole country. Imagine if for instance, every county, or even every State was say, ordering uniforms independently from different clothing shops. Instead of pooling their resources and buying power to order enough uniforms in bulk for more soldiers across the country? And of course that point is multiplied when talking about buying planes or other weaponry.

I wish more people would counter some of these pro-military right wingers with that fact.

where the top 1 percent of households own more wealth than the bottom 90 percent combined we may be able to have European style socialism but not in our lifetimes. It will be up to individual states to get the ball rolling, much like what Canada did.
