(28,946 posts)and have posted over 20,000 posts that span every type of subject, deep or shallow imaginable on DU. I rarely post these kind of videos but found these two, in particular the one about all his businesses that have gone under interesting and actually quite damaging to Trump's reputation. And based on the number of clicks these "click bait" already have in just a few minutes. Looks like plenty of DUers area also enjoying them.
It's a free country with lots and lots of choices of videos, forums etc. for people to choose from. Are you the new guardian of the Video and Multimedia form?

(7,077 posts)One of the videos wasnt even in proper English. Do you know the background of that outfit?

(28,946 posts)Simon Whistler is from the UK where English originated, so his English is a lot closer to the Queen's English than anything here in the US. That being said national pride when it comes to language makes me want to puke: https://www.ebcteflcourse.com/british-english-versus-american-english-one-best/
Pretty much everything on the net is designed to be "click bate" even the New York Times's does headlines designed to get you to click and if you don't think something like exposing Trump's huge number of business failures isn't important in undercutting his reputation as being the "brilliant business guy" then I don't know what to say to you. In a society that has limited time to pay attention to politics, something fast paced that gets to the heart of things efficiently and accurately, in a way people find entertaining, can be extremely efficient in shredding Trump's reputation and message. Perhaps even more efficient than say a 60 minute long indepth documentary on Trump's business losses.
So instead of trying to be the police of what videos are important or not and spending a bunch of time on something you find beneath yourself, how about posting the business loss video on your Facebook page where it might educate a few people as to how stupid Trump is? It might actually change a couple of minds of people under the misconception he is good at business.

And that TopTenz site is clickbait, by design and by title.

For the love of God, why isn't your sentence capitalized? That's not proper English.
Getting back to my main point which you keep ignoring. It's still educational and still does does damage to Trump and that is the bottom line. Both videos now have close to ten recs each and over 1000 views each so just because you don't like them, clearly 1,000 other people did.
