"...his supports aren't builders, they are couch potato anarchists,...thrilled to tear things down."

Fast forward to 13:46. Retired army Coronal Ralph Peters sums up where we find ourselves today as a result of 2016.

We are an ungrateful nation. Greedy, spoiled, entitled. No wonder people voted for trump. He's THEM.

I thought about Cuomo saying that this was never a great nation (due to racism, misogyny, slavery, etc). The deplorables think it was a great nation but they are often white, straight and male. They are wearing blinders.

Here in Los Angeles, I only know one Trump supporter, and he is very angry about the relative failure of his life. He simply didn't work at success or his marriage or much of anything. He expected success without doing what it takes to get it.

He is a sad case. You wouldn't think he was such a do-nothing if you met him because he is charming and energetic-seeming. But the truth is, and I have known him for a long time, for some reason, he just never could succeed at much of anything. He is very self-centered in a strange, lackadaisical way. Odd character for Los Angeles.

Col. Peters is right.

Trump's base in my very, very limited experience: a bunch of low-achievers.
