His willingness to give Trump a get out of jail free card, and to free Trump from any investigation or oversight. That's the point I made earlier - this whole sexual assault thing has, in many ways, been a sideshow or a distraction from the real reason why Kavanaugh was nominated in the first place: A get out of jail free card for Trump.

Trump: OK, Brett, did you really jump those girls?

Kavanawful: Is this being taped?

Trump: No, I had them all turned off.

Kavanawful: Well, if you must know, yeah, sure I jumped them. Some of them loved it, but some put up a fight.

Trump: THAT'S what I want to hear!! You're my kind of guy, and I will stick with you to the bitter end--of business tomorrow.

Kavanawful: That's not very reassuring.

Trump: I TOLD you, the tapes are not running. We'll cover your ass to the extent that it doesn't endanger mine. That's as good as I can offer you.

Kavanawful: OK, well, maybe I'll still make it.

Trump: If not, I'll still comp you to a long weekend at Mar-a-Lago. If she'll drink this special wine I ordered for her, I'll even throw in Melania.

Kavanawful: That's more like it. OK, you've got a deal.

The Republicans will put on a "hearing show" and then vote to seat Kavanagh on the supreme court.

Nothing, absolutely nothing, is going to stop Republicans from fucking America as much as they can while they still hold the power to fuck America.
