But when Johnny Carson made jokes about whoever was president, it was mostly in good fun. Colbert is deadly serious and he sure doesn't hold back! That's why we appreciate him here!

is actually Carson's 'reincarnation'. With his own twist on comedy.

I seldom Laugh Out Loud, but I do with Colbert, and replays of Carson.

He's extremely quick on his feet and is completely plugged in to what's going on. One time when there was breaking news (Trump going to North Korea) while he was taping his monologue, he stopped because he wanted to include the latest news and he ad libbed the rest! Brilliant guy - and very funny!
