My husband and I were discussing various kinds of movies - especially all the big ones that feature mayhem. Explosions, fire, gunfights, knifings, houses on fire, blood, dismemberment, car crashes, infernos, beatings, buildings on fire, more explosions, and other assorted gratuitous violence. I find that stuff increasingly tiresome. He still likes some of it.

I conceded it’s popular. Gets those butts in the seats in the theatres. When I was still working the producer on the TV news always led with fire and mayhem if there was any. And he declared “people wanna see ORANGE!”

And I suddenly wondered if that was not only true, but might partially explain the trump appeal.

“Orange!” I said. “His face is orange! His hair is yellow. He looks like fire!” Which then made me wonder if he’s come to us from Hell.

16. Trump is the complete opposite of Christ

Christ was poor, Trump is rich. Christ never lied, Trump never stops. Christ was forgiving, Trump never forgives. Christ sacrificed himself for others, Trump sacrifices others for himself. Christ was humble, Trump is a narcissist... and so on. The list is endless once you get started. I don't understand the attraction religious people have for Trump.
