Beto Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth. So Fucking Proud Of You Guys!

Came within one point of beating that slime bag Ted Cruz IN TEXAS, without taking a penny of PAC money.

THAT'S something to be proud of! THANK YOU, TEXAS DEMOCRATS!

(I also enjoyed watching all the news anchors squirm when he dropped the F-bomb on live television. Another first.)

Beto did an amazing job. dalton99a Nov 2018 #1
Agreed and imo its a win in that Cruz and the Repugnants had to spend unusual amounts of money cstanleytech Nov 2018 #2

to retain a seat that they would have probably easily won 4+ years ago had they not shown their true colors to so many people.

in the least he could make an excellent VP or a cabinet member position. His connection with the young people is something we can't do without.

I've met the nicest, kindest people who worked for Beto.. These people are too good for this state of hate, and that's what it is. Even as Cruz tried to be gracious (shocking, I know) his supporters were booing.. and now my husband wants to drag me to see his brother who literally thinks trump is Jesus.. honest!

I can't dial down anything. This sucks.. the lies and the liars are winning. I think I'll rant for a while.

we need to remember we've come a long way from happened on Nov. 2016.

Here's the silver lining:
I heard a strategist on MSN say earlier that Beto's loss yesterday isn't necessarily a loss. He's got national exposure and really raised his profile from this run. That's the way i look at it. He's electrified the 18-29 voting block and got alot of young people out to vote, not just here in Tx but nationally. My kids and their friends voted because they were inspired by Beto. He got the message to them that their vote is their voice. He will do well in future races. I'd love for him to be a VP or a cabinet member, OR some appointed position.

Take heart - El Paso's Golden Son has become the left's Golden Son .

BTW, i went to the first Beto rally in the DFW area. Love the guy!!

I just find it very disturbing that Americans aren't rejecting Republicans in droves.. there are too many who approve of this disgrace of a president and I'll never understand it.

Thanks for the encouraging words.. Texas has produced some of the finest people America's known. Time to take that back.
