Dick sounds so sharp. He'll be 82 on the 19th! I've always admired him. He was one of the first celebrities to go public about his struggle with major depression. He even revealed that he was successfully treated with ECT.

His youtube clips are the best, it really feels like a casual, impromptu conversation and you never knew what either he or his guest would say next. The John and Yoko interview was what got me started on Cavett clips.
Loved his quip about nixon being such a great conversationalist, seemed to go right over the audiences head.
