(2,236 posts)It was a special moment when I visited Pere Lachaise cemetery in Paris and got to see her grave.
For those of you who enjoy visiting cemeteries, seeing the monuments and reading the epitaphs, if you go to Paris, take the time, at least a day, to see Pere Lachaise. It is the most beautiful cemetery I have ever been in.

It's almost like: See, you have a great resting place. Now stop complaining.
And, unless I'm mistaken plots in this cemetery are strictly allocated according to "rank".
For me, a natural burial in some unmarked spot about 1 meter down where the real life force of this planet can use my meager contributions.

(37,648 posts)I got a post a while back, telling me to remove a video and move it to "music," unless I could relate it to politics. Why do you think I got that post, since people regularly post videos in the video forum that are not political?
