I pull this up often, just to marvel and wonder at Heart, the Obamas, Led Zep's reaction to the love in the room, etc. It never gets old.

I was a gymnast and young (of course) before my body betrayed me with Lupus. Morning is the worst time, but I saw this at 6:05 am and was inspired to try a light routine. What would once have been a leap that lead to a series of flips or handsprings was simply a three foot “hop” from one foot to another and I landed hard on my posterior. Once I was sure nothing was broken (because morning lupus pain makes you feel like everything broke during the night anyway), I was invigorated! I won’t be moving much today, but it was worth it! I’ve always loved the reactions from the original artists and the huge orchestra and choir behind the Wilson sister bring out such emotion. It was worth the fall. Just don’t tell Hubby (or son) who keep me far away from injury. If I had made that landing (which was pathetic compared to what I used to do on a beam!) it would have made my day! Such talent, and such a loss that our current “executive” has no fondness for culture of any kind. President Obama tried, I think more than anyone, to really vary the artistic experiences that he presented to guests and the nation. I don’t think there has been any moving artistic push from this White House-simply angry tweets against what he thinks are an attack against him. My ankle and hip hurt more than his ego, but unlike him, I find that pain from overwhelming joy of talent and creativity to be so worth it. Someone without emotion would never understand. Thus, my sadness...
