I wonder also how many undesirables ICE is hiring, i.e. oath keepers, white nationalists, and also the riff raff that "volunteer" at the border. The wingnuts with the large cache of guns...

I was once ripped on here for not believing that "ICE should be abolished". I now believe differently, but I also was never saying that ICE shouldn't be gutted. I thought it shouldn't be a Democratic talking point for election purposes, since we've already got the RW talking point of "open borders". I'm not sure if I still believe it shouldn't be a talking point, but red flags need to go up, because Trump is making many moves, especially recently, that is setting the stage for a complete dictatorship.

I watched an older fictional tv series called "The colony" recently, and the hairs stood up on the back of my neck. Somewhat similar to The Handmaid's tale, but DHS became the enforcers. Fictional yes, but makes you think...
