This is completely accurate. The male lead is either an "old friend," a secret prince - or the actual son of Santa!

who enjoys all things sappy.

It took me just a little while to figure out that it's all the same plot over and over and over and over again......

If folks enjoy them, fine. I would rather simply turn the TV off and read.

I got used to turning on Murder, She Wrote or whatever old mystery show was on whenever MSNBC got to be too much. But unfortunately they started showing these formulaic Christmas movies before Halloween! And they aren't mysteries, they belong on Lifetime or somewhere like that.

won't. I spent 5 weeks with my best friend last year, while she recovered from her kidney transplant. She watches all crap tv. The tv is on the whole time she's awake and I cringe at the level of crap on the airwaves. But as much crap as she watches, she won't watch Hallmark. lol

A spread sheet of all the "themes" on the hallmark channel would be interesting. How many variations on a theme do they use??

and clever. They are hard to find. Any suggestions? Watching 1984 repeats of Miss Marple now. Not holiday themes but still good.
