Who are these people? Roberts' role is only ceremonial. He can't issue subpoenas or warrants.

Roberts' role is not as a judge. He merely "presides." Moscow mitch makes the rules.

but isn't Roberts the JUDGE and as such, can require
testimony from any witness in the furtherance of a
fact- based trial?
Not to mention that Roberts doesn't assume his role
until the Articles of Impeachment are presented to
the Senate.
So, as the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, he
could compel Trump's testimony. Not that he will
of course. That would give the Supremes the chance
to determine another presidency in our lifetimes.

he's wanting to clear his name. Coward...he won't either (testify).
