5. I was wondering about that. All his daughter's names seem Italian and he called

them his little principessas, which is Italian for princess. Just so sad. I am so sorry for what happened to him and his sweet little girl. The rest of the family must just be devastated. My heart goes out to them. This is just so tragic. RIP Kobe and Gia.

6. When languages are learned in childhood

it is easier and more likely to stay with the person. I wish I had more exposure to all the languages I heard as a child, I was taught French for a while and used it where I lived somewhat.

Learning languages increases one's mental capacity even if they have little education otherwise. Kobe had both and he made good use of this, it appears. So sad that this has happened.

I don't know what to say in condolences, I send them out to family and friends and fans anyway.

8. Echoing 2nsalit - being able to converse in multiple languages is a sign of mental aptitude. However

not even having command of a mother tongue at all is a sign of a disease now associated with trump and followers.

The peeresident can even tweet with real words, connected phrases, whole sentences. The butt-remnants of his teeparty supporters seem to enjoy being called anti-smart.

I don't want to call all repuglicons dimwits, or all evangelicals/southerners stupid; but the group as a whole seems to be deficient in the intellectual realm.
