The Israeli prime minister has reportedly been denied a White House meeting with President Obama.
The decision comes after relations between the allies have been strained over settlement building in the occupied West Bank and international opposition to a unilateral Israeli strike against suspected nuclear targets inside Iran.
Al Jazeera's Rosliand Jordan has more details.
