(23,598 posts)2. I would recommend taping a twisty tie around the area that hits the bridge of
your nose so you can push it down over the bridge of your nose. Surgical masks have a little wire that does that for keeping the air out of the top of the mask.
This is a great little mask.

and they all thanked me for it. We all started wearing them over a week ago.
You could add extra filtration too. And if you don't have hair thingies, use shoe laces or string.

We have to help each other get through this. It's easy to get frustrated with new things. A friend said they didn't have hair ties so I suggested the strings which can also be looped such that you can tie them in the back of your head instead of looped around your ears.
