Obamas Post Convention Advantage

MSNBC

Obama’s post-convention advantage in the swing states of FL, OH, and VA… New NBC/WSJ/Marist polls: FL -- Obama 49%, Romney 44%... OH -- Obama 50%, Romney 43%... VA -- Obama 49%, Romney 44%... The debates can’t come soon enough for Romney… The Clinton bump… Romney dials down his embassy-attack criticism, but his campaign dials it back up… Fed’s action serves as a double-edged sword for Obama… Fact-checking the Romney camp’s latest ad… And Romney stumps in OH.

Uhhhh, isn't that what the Convention was for? He has been running for about five years and still hasn't been clear about any policy -- not one. Why would anybody bother to watch.

The debates are the only events worth tuning in for because at least Romney will be faced with questions. He will shuck and jive, of course, but at least he'll have to be seen in the vicinity of real questions.

If Romney really wants to get some attention, he could try stating a clear policy on something, and then sticking to it for more than 24 hours. That would really shake things up.
