From a few hours back:
Trump and Barr will absolutely, positively have to be criminally prosecuted when this nightmare is over, simply that the Rule of Law might might reemerge in whatever remains of the Republic. I'm not a lawyer, but my suggested charge for both would be Treason, with capital punishment the result of a guilty verdict.
How the ex-"president" is dispatched, any method will do. But for Billy Boy Barr, I would request that we construct a guillotine, so his big fat head can be redacted from the rest of his body!

(5,122 posts)I already hear the "need to move forward" argument when it comes to prosecuting Trump and company.
The reason Republicans get away with so much corruption is because they are allowed to.
No consequences just invites more corruption.

(4,010 posts)..how wild and it's not even Summer! It's amazing how hard they try to spin, weave, manufacture and forge lie after lie. They are now building one conspiracy idea on top of another and sometimes even a third level of b.s.
I think the rapid and very hard push to use Flynn as a martyr and blame President Obama, his team and just about every FBI official for all their woes may spectacularly backfire. The more they go after wild conspiracy garbage in an attempt to influence the election, the less time they can empathize (as if they ever could!) with the average Americans current dilemmas: no food, no money, no job.
Trump's insistence on blaming Obama for all his woes (think about it: 80,000 deaths, no stockpiled testing gear, no vaccines, Flynn warnings not given, Russiagate, Ukrainegate, his impeachment, losing vote totals but for the Electoral College, fake news, Comey, Clapper and far more, all Obama's fault in one way or another) do come off to suffering Americans as not only after the fact whining but backward looking in the face of the worst pandemic since 1918.
