3. I'm so homesick!!

I know that intersection in Manhattan Beach like the back of my hand. This gives me hope. Why it took the terrible death of George Floyd to wake people up at long last is hard to fathom, but I feel we may be at a watershed moment in the history of racism in the USA as more people are waking up and acknowledging that it is real, destructive, deadly and wrong.

Just please let it stay this peaceful. My son told me there was a riot in Manhattan Beach yesterday and I do not believe it was started by people of good faith, protesting, but more likely by white supremacists trying to give trump his race war.

This gives me hope. I hope it holds.

about 10 miles South from Manhattan Beach. I didn't hear about riots but then I probably wouldn't because I've kept an eye on national news and not too much on local news (except when Santa Monica made national news on Sunday

5. I grew up in Torrance

through the years of my life i lived in Redondo Beach South and North, Lawndale, Manhattan Beach, Hawthorne. One year in the Antelope Valley.

in 2007 my youngest son and i moved to NC where life was affordable. i remain homesick. I have my oldest son and my grandchildren out there.

i've already taken my klonopin (i get 2 per week). but it's 3 hours later here.
