"Be patient over whatever they say" sounds a whole lot like "turn the other cheek." Or "sticks and stones" for that matter. Not exactly the loudest opinion, but certainly the most noble.

(27,137 posts)5. Al-Kafiroon
Surah 109: Al-Kafiroon (The Disbelievers)
Surah 109: Say, "O disbelievers, I do not worship that which you worship, nor do you worship the One whom I worship. And neither I am going to worship that which you have worshipped, nor will you worship the One whom I worship. For you is your faith, and for me, my faith."
Surah 109: Say, "O disbelievers, I do not worship that which you worship, nor do you worship the One whom I worship. And neither I am going to worship that which you have worshipped, nor will you worship the One whom I worship. For you is your faith, and for me, my faith."
- The Al-Kafiroon is ignored by some Muslims the much the same manner that some Christians ignore this one:
Matthew 10:14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
