Also one of my favorite albums by Bruce. He celebrates the normal working stiffs who keep the country going (instead of taking advantage of them like Trump). And I love the theme of the relationship between man and animal in this song.

I actually make a log raft as a kid, and sailed it on the Erie Canal. I'm not there anymore, but there's not one day that I don't think fondly back to my beloved Erie Canal home town of Spencerport.
