Could the Reaganite meme "greed is good" be fading? AlbertCat Sep 2012 #3
One can hope. If the meme falls down, though, it's time to drive a stake through it's heart. silvershadow Sep 2012 #4

even tho I had to suffer thru seeing Romney in the clips as Chris was talking. He and Rachel were right on every single point.

I love the way he gets giddy over the way Romney can file an amended return... what an adorable bit of geekiness!

Remember that Bush was able to fool plenty of people into believing he was a Texan, and a main of the soil, despite the fact he was born, raised, and educated in New England and lived all of his life in the suburbs. He did it by simply putting on an obviously fake demeanor and buying a pig farm one year before the election.

So Willard is fooling plenty of people because there are those who are willfully ignorant and want to be fooled. There are also people who will just accept everything at face value and refuse to be convinced otherwise. Mark Twain said it's easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. He was absolutely right. That's why Willard can get away with painting his face prior to his Univision interview. Half the population is dumber than the average person and Willard knows it. So while these things may seem ridiculously stupid to those who are reasonably intelligent, Willard is betting on all the useful idiots, and if you think about it he has a pretty safe bet.

But he still never won a presidential election. Both were stolen.

If you're a Dem, don't get complacent...go out and VOTE.... especially for Dem congresscritters and Senators. Only shear numbers can beat the fix.
