1. She's going to put Rs on record, give them a scarlet letter, veiled as a legislative precaution.

but the makeup of the commission makes a lot of sense: 8 medical professionals and the others (8) established leaders such as former presidents, etc. A 17th person is chosen by the group.

However, it sounds like after they turn over their findings, it would go (hypothetically, in this situation) to Pence.

They are careful to say this does not affect us now in this case with Trump. It is for future situations. Do I understand that correctly?

5. It might be because such an amendment needs bipartisan support

The Republicans have to agree with it as well as the Democrats.

This is serious. If passed it will be a huge limit on runaway Presidential abuse of power. It takes the power away from the Vice President and puts it in Congress, where it should have been all along. And it benefits both Parties.

I suspect Nancy has the votes needed to pass this. From both parties.

4. Nancy needs a good fitting N95 mask! Her mask was way too loose & @ times her nose was

exposed. It was very distracting to see her constantly monkeying with her mask! In comparison, Jamie Raskin had a good fitting much larger mask & didn't keep touching it like Nancy! She should ditch the homemade masks & opt for a smarter N95 mask. That's because she's a role model for the country & we expect more from her...

...with my own masks, every single variety slips when I talk, due to the natural movement of my jaw.

Aside from that, I found what she had to say important, timely, and informative.

6. I was wondering why Pelosi would do this so close to the election with Biden well ahead. Very clever

She of course would not do it for Trump now before election, as we well saw what impeachment did and her concern all along with that. But, in a time the nation is watching an incapacitated president she is having the conversation which is jarringly evident to be due to Trump today. So, she is getting real hits for the Democratic campaign without hurting it by taking any action against Trump.

I think it is incredibly smart.

Did I interpret these actions correctly? Flawed?
