Some appropriate quotes:

"As they say around the Texas Legislature, if you can't drink their whiskey, screw their women, take their money, and vote against 'em anyway, you don't belong in office."
+++
"The stakes they play for in politics are paper and money. The chips they play with are your life."
+++
"I have known George W. Bush slightly since we were both in high school, and I studied him closely as governor. He is neither mean nor stupid. What we have here is a man shaped by three intertwining strands of Texas culture, combined with huge blinkers of class. The three Texas themes are religiosity, anti-intellectualism, and machismo."

Thanks for posting, Rhiannon. Beto is spot-on as usual.

I like that the interview pointed out that Rethugs at CPAC were competing for who is the most cruel.

As for the cruelty, that comes straight from Trump. I have Mary Trump's book (on audio, listen to her in my car) and I listened to her discuss this exact issue when I drove to the dentist on Thursday. She said that the cruelty is the point, he got that from his father - and that's the reason Fred Trump turned to Donald instead of his intended heir - her father - because young Freddie Trump wasn't "a killer" and Donald was.

And if Beto takes on Ted Cruz again and doesn't win, there is definitely cheating!

Many of those people are self immolating by continuing to vote for Republicans!

Nothing thrills a wheelchair bound serial killer more then millions of willing victims...and let's face it the majority are willing victims...hell water buffalos have a better sense of survival then Texans who keep voting for Republicans!!!
