(54,770 posts)1. Seriously hoping. But Cohen hasn't exactly produced much other than the early
Stormy Daniels stuff, trump is a cad, trump is a racist, etc. We all knew that.
But just maybe hes on verge of becoming relevant again.

(205,353 posts)2. Well, he is a lawyer and he was the former guy's long time lawyer
So he does know where a lot of the bodies are buried, so to speak, since he did Trump's dirtywork and went to prison for it. And it does make little sense that they'd convict the lawyer, but not the client who broke the law.

But, I sure dont know. Last 4 years have been tough to figure out. Again, hope you are right.

(205,353 posts)7. Well, I can't claim to understand it, either.
I don't understand why Michael Cohen would face prison time for acting on the former guy's orders while the former guy could still be free and clear.

spilled what he knew trying to avoid prison.

Justice matters.
(6,929 posts)8. Not if he/she (eventually) committed crimes before getting elected.
*committed backed with irrefutable evidence shown.
Once that's been established, more crimes committed while in office can be added to the lot.
Otherwise, forget being the jewel of law-and-order leader of the free world (global reputation trashed).
