People also don't want to work for bosses that take and then let them go without paying for overtime and working after they punch out. Pay them what there worth and yes they will come

When there are more applicants than jobs, workers compete for jobs, wages decrease.
When there are more jobs than applicants, businesses compete for workers, wages increase.

Unfortunately, business owners feel that a job to them is worth only $X and they never apply this Supply & Demand algorithm.
Instead they feel like someone desperate enough will take it for $X.

If your business model means you don't pay a living wage, your business model isn't working.

BTW, I love Stephanie Ruhle!
