so most people are going to roll their eyes and not bother watching or listening to it. Stuff with heavy numbers is equally boring to people who remember high school math with a shudder.
However, what they really need to do is take on one dodge at a time, like the strategic tax loss via a corporation that exists only on paper filed offshore. They also need to address the long standing policy at the IRS of going after pennies from working people while ignoring the billions that rich men and their corporations cheat their way out of paying.
I know journalists don't understand this stuff, but surely they can find someone who understands it well enough to break it down into digestible pieces for working stiffs who are getting screwed six ways from Sunday by high tax loads and artificially low paychecks.
Otherwise, it's not journalism and they're not reporting the news, this is the kind of story cranked out by hacks who don't care any more, to be read by anchors who know damned well it's not news.
