Joe Biden proposed this. It is his baby and I am thrilled to see the Senators following suit.

A President can only pass his agenda when the house and senate support him. Good to see that Sanders does.

Remember, a week ago the chairman said he wouldn't support anything less than $6T.

Then he met privately with Biden and Schumer, and it's done.

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders met at the White House with President Joe Biden Monday, and vowed to make a budget reconciliation proposal 'as robust as possible,' touting his own $6 trillion figure.

'There are 50 Democrats in the caucus, I suspect there are different points of view. As you know, I introduced a proposal for $6 trillion. I'm going to fight to make that proposal as robust as it can be,' he said.

My guess is Biden told him that wasn't going to happen. And he was right, there are 50 Democrats in the caucus. No one Senator makes or breaks any deal, unless it's Leader Chuck Schumer.
