But if I'm on the list to get a third shot, I'm stepping right up!

She got the J&J single shot, and Gupta clearly said ‘if you had two’
She has 2 yr old twins, and she and her husband both are working and in the public arena (among the unvaxxed maskholes)
All my family are vaxxed, she alone had the single dose. …

as the ones that required two shots. Really. Everyone needs to stop freaking out about the J&J one and done.

They did say that it might be necessary to add for protection against the Delta variant - and whatever variant comes after that! If only everyone had stepped up when vaccines were offered, we wouldn't be experiencing the rash of breakouts we're seeing now.

"OMG!! We all need a booster!" nonsense.

Perhaps even more than that, we need to be collectively concerned that the entire rest of the world get vaccinated before any booster bullshit.

And we're only experiencing that because of the unvaccinated.

I'm beginning to lose patience with the posters here who are desperately eager for a booster. It's simply not needed at this point. Getting the unvaccinated vaccinated, here and elsewhere, should be a vastly higher priority.

It would also help if people weren't so desperately eager to travel somewhere, attend various mass gatherings, and the like. Honestly, I wonder how Europeans ever survived WWII when they could no longer vacation in Italy. People really do need to get over themselves.

Which are now hitting children! The "pandemic among the unvaccinated" is not just a meme. They are the ones causing the spread and putting the rest of us in danger. It's heartening to hear that vaccines may soon be required among several populations. Companies are stepping up to mandate it, it may soon be required among our military - and I'm completely on board for it being required for health care workers!

I became fully vaccinated April 4th, but I have no guarantee that my vaccination provides me with coverage against Covid. You bet your sweet bippy that I will be in line for a booster, and so will millions of people whose immune systems are compromised. As for travel, I leave my house 2 or 3 times a month since mid-March a year ago, for medical appointments and to do curbside grocery pick-up. My patience with this process helps keep me alive.

He was in or is still in the original trial and got his shots in august of last year. He was in the vaccine group for original trial. This trial is for the same vaccine that he got a year ago. Pfizer is stating a trial in august for Delta variant My son thinks that got the vaccine in that he had fever and arm hurt just like last year

I intend to a booster when it is available

Oh, I agree. I got the vaccine as soon as it was available and I was eligible, it was a huge relief to me. I also think that the priority should be getting the unvaccinated vaccinated to stop the terrible spread, but I'm fine with getting a booster anytime it's recommended, I'm sure that most of us are. And I got the Moderna since that was the first one available to me - I took Dr. Fauci's advice, though most people I know in these parts got the Pfizer, including my brother, since it was more widely available locally - and still is!
