This needs to be spread as a slogan on billboards, bumper stickers, posters and pumped through the mainstream media with huge advertisements. Hammering home this simple message could have more results than all the intellectual and scientific talk that turns off regular folks. This is a brilliant public health tool. Run with it! It is even better than "Mask it or Casket!"

2. I obviously think that's an excellent idea

But it appears that many of them - like that PTA mob in Tennessee who went after the parent who supported masking and was also a doctor - are too far gone to reach.

There's an older man (mid 80s) who I see at local meetings. He's quite opinionated, but we've always been friendly. When I was able to get vaccinated, I was grateful and relieved and I told people. And this gentleman said he had no intention of getting the vaccine since his daughter is a nurse and she's not getting the vaccine - and he gets his medical advice from her.

And during a later discussion, he said that his granddaughters weren't getting vaccinated, either, since they might want to have children someday! I have not brought it up since.

This is where they've taken us. The abyss of right-wing lunacy. This is why successful politicians who win major elections never attach themselves to the extremes (left or right)--it's a Pandora's box, once you open it, you can't close it and THEY WILL NEVER LET YOU GO.

Trump rose these people from the abyss because he needed the votes, that's it. On million of these idiots could give him a win over any candidate running against him. But he got a whole lot more. now they're running around like thousands of cockroaches slinging fascist symbolism or using whatever means necessary to get the power they need to stay relevant.

Trump could easily partner up with Biden and other former presidents to help fight this, but he won't. It would make him look, and get this, it will make him look weak! As if it is all about him. He has no idea how small and unimportant he really is.

We will all come together when the "patriots" start dropping dead like flies in some invisible mist. Then they'll come a running for masks vaccines or whatever, and then they'll pretend that all their protesting didn't really exist.
