(206,247 posts)And you're right, she is so smart, experienced and capable. I was so grateful when she was my senator and of course this country would be much different now if she had become president - what sends me over the edge is that she got the most votes!

(112,492 posts)since I have some last minute items to pick up at the grocery store today and I also need to do some laundry. Thursday is spoken for and I'll be watching the Cowboys football game and the two new Star Trek episodes at night.
I'm also having to look ahead to next week. One of my brother's Army buddies from Tennessee is flying here and they plan to visit the Bush library in College Station the day he arrives (I don't know why since he sent them into war). The following day they are travelling down to the area where I was raised in south Texas and also going fishing in Corpus Christi. Therefore, I'm going to be holding down the fort while my brother is gone.
I look forward to getting Hillary's perspective on the issues and the political drama.

(206,247 posts)I figured that would stay on the front page for awhile - and it's not only a serious interview, but history!
Sounds like you have a busy time ahead. I think I'm okay if I can just make it through tomorrow since I have an appointment and then run all my errands. And you'll have a nice respite without your brother, I'm visiting mine tomorrow, but since he goes to bed by 7pm, I never stay long.
And at least you have quite a bit to look forward to...
