In 2022, Joe Biden is confronting a challenge that can define a presidency -- record-breaking inflation. As prices reach their highest point in 40 years, Biden's agenda must adjust to this challenge. MSNBCs Ari Melber reports on this particular pandemic price surge, its unequal impact, and some of the deeper systemic issues in American capitalism and stagnant wages. The report also features examples from history, the views of current Americans going through these challenges, and "Fat Joe's Guide to Inflation." Aired on 01/11/2022.

I'm optimistic going forward, and we may even catch a break tomorrow. Oil prices fell over the last month or so. But it's a mixed picture. Some stations never lowered their price. Others fell 40 cents. At least near me.

But the average is still around $3.49 for regular. And diesel has apparently gone up.

(2,575 posts)3. This is such a lie, the government doesn't control the economy, the banks and corporations control
all sectors of the economy, including the Military in the round about way.
This is just another attack, like the Afghanistan withdrawal.
