Every time I see her name I think of my friend who did pie her in the face.

This is disgusting. All of this movement against teaching our history as it was, the constant shooting of darker skinned people, the taking away of the rights of women and pushing LGBTQ+ people back into the closet and forcing religion (not quite as brutal yet) is just as sickening as it gets. It is hard to believe in this country as it was but now I have no belief it will even get back to those pitiful standards.

This republican obsession with the LBGTQ community and Critical Race Theory shines a light on the ugliest side of human nature.

What is truly pathetic is how these societal bullies have no self-awareness of the malice in their hearts.

nonconforming, questioning or whatever is repulsive. At the very least it's an invasion of privacy. At worst, it's deadly, as Chasten points out in his reference to the statistics on suicide from the Trevor Project.

It's clearly a "none ya" topic as in it's none of your business. These poorly, less than thoughtfully reasoned stances are inherently designed to backfire.

What's next, making the teachers and support staff disclose their sexual preferences, on their job application or yearly review, in order to be or stay employed? The disturbingly dangerous degree of othering this creates is also quite frightening.
