of Rep. Clyburn when he suggested to nominee Biden during the 2020 campaign to promise to appoint a Black woman to the court when the opportunity came up.

The appointment will happen quickly as the promise narrows the field, and there's already a short list. We'll get this done before any chance of a change from the mid-terms of Majority Leader in the Senate which could stop the process in it's tracks. And we know McTurtle would do just that.

I was just remembering on a previous thread how Mitch blocked Obama's pick with a year to go in his second term, but then gave the green light to TFG's deplorable pick only days before the election in which he was overwhelmingly defeated.
