Jared Kushner, former President Trump's son-in-law, has spoken virtually with the House committee investigating the January 6 attack. Kushner was a senior adviser in the White House and is the highest-ranking member of the Trump administration to appear before the committee.

(14,795 posts)Hearings are closed so other possible co-conspirators don't hear what is said and mimic it in their testimony.
But in reality the gop members present tell everyone on their side what was said.
More likely it was a condition for him to appear, although the committee can (and likely will) release transcripts of his testimony at some point.
If we lose the house in november, almost all of the testimony will be made public before january 20th.
Though I agree, with no cameras running transcripts can fall short.
