that a Ukrainian who farms 3K acres is so high tech. Well, yea. It's a highly developed nation with a gargantuan agriculture system. I suppose a lot of folks don't realize that. Reminds me of when my uncle first invested in GPS guided equipment. A far cry from my grandfather and great grandfather, who plowed with mules and didn't get their first tractor until the late 40's. Now, my cousins who still run the operation have moved on to PA (precision agriculture) similar to that Ukrainian colleague. They spend as much time on a laptop monitoring sensors as they do on a tractor. It's not just "get big or get out" to make it pay anymore.
