1. The International Legion to which Senior Chief Nance refers

is vetting (only) combat veterans. They are not accepting wannabes. There are now over 20,000 foreign veterans from all over the world there in Ukraine right now. They understand that failure to defend democracy in Ukraine will spread to all of us. Have we learned nothing from WWII ?

I am retired from the U S NAVY and have graduate degrees in history and political science. I grew up in a Marine Corps family, with decorated combat veterans, men who served in WWII in the East and in Korea at the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir. And if I were younger, I, too, would stop talking.
