and a lot of them are out of reach of Ukraine. Either there's some Russian monkeywrenching going on or Ukrainian lightning is striking anywhere Ukrainian expats are living.

I strongly suspect it's the former. While the war is insanely popular among older, rural people who watch the horseshit on state TV, the young people who work for a living in the cities are a lot less enthusiastic about it.

I sincerely doubt Ukrainian expats are behind it. They know their positions are already precarious.
