Related: About this forumLast Week Tonight with John Oliver (HBO) - Subway
John Oliver discusses one of the largest franchises in the U.S., how their business model doesnt always serve franchisees, and what it all has to do with Korean dramas.
And here's a "bootleg" version of the show which contains John's opening comments on current events (State primary results - Cawthorn and Mastriano, "Things they say in Texas" ). It won't last long, as usual:

I used to get them when I couldn't be arsed to make anything to take to work that night because the employee grill was pretty awful, greasy stuff produced by a moonlighting, sleep deprived short order cook. Subway stuff always used too much mayo, but it was otherwise edible.
I haven't eaten at one since I quit working. However, given the state of fast food, they're the least objectionable, IMO. It just sucks to be a franchisee, I've noticed some parts of town where they pop up like mushrooms after a hard rain.

I haven't eaten at a Subway since I got food poisoning there a few years ago. A mild case but I won't risk it again.
