Summit of Americas: Calls to move manufacturing out of Asia - Al Jazeera



Trade and economic growth are expected to be high on the agenda as leaders from the Americas and the Caribbean meet in Los Angeles.

Many trade experts say Latin America and the Caribbean would benefit from shortening US supply chains - which would mean moving some manufacturing away from Asia to countries closer.

I mean if you wanna stop those so-called caravans, then how about giving them jobs with living wages in their home countries so they wouldn't have to leave. I'd also recommend better family planning with no involvement from the Vatican.
