(205,495 posts)My grandmother told me years ago that if she was a young person starting out (she was a teacher), she'd be an environmentalist - and I take environmental issues very seriously - it's the most important we're facing and it's painful to realize that we've lost so much time. We absolutely cannot go backwards!
p.s. Even Stephen Colbert weighed in on the importance of environmental concerns tonight!
