Dahlia Lithwick, senior editor and legal correspondent for Slate, talks about the new Trump Supreme Court running through its ideological checklist as it issues rulings, taking up a case for next term in which Republicans hope to be given the right to disregard state courts as they use their control of state legislatures to further cement their grip on power. OP
I agree. What they've done so far is anti-democratic - but this could end democracy for good

This could be the end of democracy. And it will pass this court.

Which they've made clear is their ultimate aim. And there is no way to "vote them out," though they gained their seats through false pretenses.

The court seems to be having a hissy fit about their ex-president and his cabinet being held accountable for their actions. Yes, trump and his cronies did commit treason and should be punished. But, the supreme court seems to be saying for each piece of evidence you show we will punish you by taking away this or that. If you look at the different rulings they are a scatter brain of cases. It looks like a child having a temper tantrum and just trying to do what they must to get what they want.
