1) I fully agree with the kudos to the J6 questioner (Cheney?) -- it's remarkable for its rarity, something that continually frustrates and confuses me; and

2) I fail to see the contradiction in the two conversations. Yes, they are playing with semantics. In one instance (under oath) Miller says there was no direct order. In the Fox version, there seems to be a caveat--something about a "contingency" wherein a request would have set something in motion, perhaps leading to a direct order; but since (apparently) no "request" (from whom?) happened, no order happened.

Am I misunderstanding something?
