(3,871 posts)...so that dark money's influence on elections is curtailed and all people can vote secure that all votes will be counted. Additionally, if it is still possible (I don't recall if it is so), the ERA needs to be ratified or brought back up and ratified. Also, abortion rights need to be written into federal law.
There can be no more of this pretense of voter fraud that Trump and the MAGA-verse have bemoaned since well before the 2020 election and no more tolerance for Trump's incitement of the 1/6 Insurrection or for Trump's illegal possession classified materials.
Common ground only starts when the prison cells' doors shut behind Trump et al.

(15,751 posts)It was the manchin bipartisan folk who gave Biden his big legislative win recently - lest we forget already.
[i'm no manchin fan at all, but Biden conspicuously gave his big legislation signing pen, to manchin at the signing ceremony].
Biden CAN get more done, the way he got his big legislation done. We need bipartisn help to win, in 2022 & 2024. The anti-trump thing alone, has not been able to do it.

And if anyone can have success in reaching across the aisle, it's Joe Biden. With over 30 years in the Senate and 8 years in the Executive Branch, he has the experience and knows the players. This really is his time...
