Reminds me of a not-at-all-similar story when I was in Britain years ago with my parents and grandmother. My Dad insisted on stopping at a pub, and there was a group of American college students there. They were taking turns taking pictures of each other, so I offered to take one of the whole group for them. They were appreciative and the guy with the camera stood next to me and asked his friend to take a photo of him with "the nice English girl!"
