Chris Hayes: Go Get The Updated Covid Booster Shot - All In - MSNBC

Chris Hayes: “If you're medically eligible, you and everyone you know should get the booster. There is so much more we can do to drive down this intolerable rate of Covid death in this country. But this new shot is an easy first step to preventing more loss. Let's start doing it.” - Aired on 09/23/2022.

I have to check my status - I was late in getting booster #2 since I came down with the flu - and I had gotten my flu shot!

I got both my flu shot and pneumonia shot at the same time last year and one arm hurt terribly for a week - but I don't know which shot was responsible...

Persistent infection, then it was too close to this one being released.

I was presuming we would have to wait 6 mos between 2nd booster & this new one, as was the case with boosters previously.

Oh well... i'll hopefully be able to get it in a week or so. No option for it here yet. 😏

Since that's where he went before. But it's closed now. For his health insurance, he has to get checkups at the doctor, wish they could give it to him, or at least tell him he should get it. His doctor retired, but his daughter took over his practice - and she brings her (therapy?) dog. He likes the dog.

My doctor's office asked to make a copy of my vaccination card, but when I asked at the ENT they weren't interested. Yet they still require masks - even though I'm there for sinus and breathing issues.

I hope you can convince him to go!

Bribe him with a take-out pizza after?

I felt pretty rotten after the second shot, I think. I believe I'm finally eligible now, took me awhile to get my second booster since i was diagnosed with the flu on the very day I was eligible for booster #2 and that lasted for quite awhile, much worse than any reaction to any Covid inoculation. I'm grateful for the reminder.

So I've stuck with it. Thanks for letting me know, I can deal with a sore arm. And I just checked my vaccination card and it looks like I'm eligible. Kudos to you for getting it already. I was late in getting booster #2 since I was down with the flu as soon as I was eligible, but I checked and it's been over 2 months now.
